New Blurst Game Suggestions

Here is a place to post your suggestions.

We make a game every 8 weeks, so we're constantly coming up with new game concepts. If you'd like to submit an idea, we're all ears. Who knows, maybe your idea could end up the next Blurst game!

You already have some twisted ideas when it comes to games, but... ever thought the idea of sequels? Or expansions etc. Some examples could be:
- More weapons and clown types for IHC. Or replace clowns with raptors, donkeys etc.
- More vehicles for RaptorSafari and more creatures to run over/deliver. Delivering a bronto sounds interesting to me.

I could say a couple more, but what exactly are your thoughts when it comes to sequels? Ever thought about them? Threw anything like this on the discussion table? Or you prefer the... way of maximum creativity and a completely new idea each time?

This isn't really an idea for a game as such, more of an idea to expand on your current games for their paid download versions. Would Time Donkey, Velociraptor Safari, Blush and other games with the 4 minute time limit benefit from an "Extra Time" game mode? Same panic-stricken charging round the map to get a high score, but with 6 minutes instead of 4. This mode could even have its own score table to separate it from the standard mode.

This is going to be long and probably isn't as cool as I think it is but, I had an idea for a something I would call a horror movie simulator. Basically the game would try to recreate the slasher film premise of someone being stalked inside of their house (think Halloween or the Strangers). The player would have to survive whatever time limit that was imposed upon them by avoiding the killer until the cops arrived. So it would have to be kind of stealthy because if you tried to attack the killer directly you would almost always die. If you're caught you could run into another room and barricade the door by pushing the bed in front of the door. You should also be able to interact with items around the house like being able to climb through a window or picking up a knife to stun the killer with thereby giving you enough time to run away. "Why wouldn't players just run to their neighbors house or stab the killer to death?" you ask, I don't know you could put some sort of artificial limits on the player by making sure they know that the killer will always eventually out run them or kill them if they try to fight. I was thinking that there could be some randomized elements to the game. You could have a few different houses, protagonists with different attributes (maybe one of them is a child that isn't very fast but could hide more easily or a teenage babysitter that is faster and stronger but can't hide under/behind things), and various slasher archetypes (a guy that kind of looks like Micheal Myers that uses a knife or a guy that kind of looks like Leatherface with a chainsaw). These things could be picked randomly by the game before each playthrough thus increasing the replay value. All of this could be done in a sort of isometric camera perspective to keep it more in line with something that would be possible in 8 weeks (sort of what The Sims looks like when you are inside a house). That's the basics I guess, if anyone thinks this concept doesn't suck I have more ideas to flesh it out a little bit.

3d highly stylized chibi-ish gladiator matches. You are in the center of arena, and the evil romans are throwing increasingly difficult and scary things out to kill you. Survive as long as possible

You are a ghost who likes scaring people. While you cannot interact with the physical world, you can disrupt mechanical objects. Use this to your advantage to cause mayhem. Points for scaring people. Points for causing people's deaths. When they die, their ghost joins you.

Tiger racing. As a participant in the illustrious sport of tiger riding, you ride tigers for prize money. Eat spectators for extra speed. Utilize slashing and biting attacks to foil your opponents. Pimp out your tiger.

You should check out the game series "Clock Tower" which is basically exactly what you just described.

+10000 for tiger racing game, wow does that sound cool. With motion blur and a good tiger animation, that would feel awesome. Just running wild in the jungle, jumping on stuff to eat it.

A simple multiplayer (4 players maybe) RTS, though fitting that in 8 weeks would be ridiculous... but you guys rock don't you? Or anything to do with squirrels (non-stylized, really fast and nervous). Or multiplayer blush... competition mode and coop... Wow that would be awesome!

rocket moose sounds interesting. how about a game where you play as a storm (particularly a tornado) and you try to damage as many buildings and items in the world within the time limit. yeah, there are probably games like it, but with your guys' brilliant minds, you can add an unsuspected twist to the gameplay, like controlling 2 tornadoes at once or a mode to see how many items you can suck up into your tornado.
