I'd love to support Indie games - but I can't afford to throw away money. And that's what Kickstart projects usually are asking for - they're looking for a patron.

I'd like to see more indie games seeking out investors - i.e. they get money in return for a slice of the profits, or a part of the company. I'm fairly certain there is a market for that...

Man. Mike and I were already floored at the response from our indie brethren and now you guys go and do something wonderful like this! Thanks guys! You rock our world.

BTW, if anyone else is interested in getting hooked up with Kickstarter, the best way would be to head over to the TIGForums and post in this thread to request an invite: http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=7561.0

We're doing a bit of a pyramid scheme to help get them out to those in need. Make sure you're going to follow through with posting your project. invites are limited.

We were thinking of putting something like this together ourselves for MOSS (shameless plug), had no idea somebody already had the same idea! Definitely will check it out.
